Recently Sorrento's hours have changed (and they've always been closed on Sundays), and I've found myself exploring other options. And Pizza Romano is such a great option. They have several pretty good specials, but my favorite is the large cheese pizza with a can of coke deal. For like $12, you've got a full meal. The pizza's good. They're open super late. They're open on Sundays. They don't have the ridiculous lines that Sorrento's gets. And even though they're pricier than the $6.50 carryout special at Sorrento's, their pizza is still super affordable. Also, as much as I love Sorrento's, they get pretty sloppy with their large cheeses for the carry out special. Sometimes the pizza that comes out looks more like a small to medium at best. At Pizza Romano, a large means a large. PLUS it comes with this delicious garlic butter sauce. I'm a huge fan. ”
